About
I am currently researching the fate of public goods and the public policies from the point of view of the New Institutional Economics (NIE).
In my doctoral thesis I did research on the heritage railways from a comparative point of view (Britain vs. Andalusia) making inroads into institutional economics. The work is an enquiry on the origin and nature of the endowment and reuse of industrial heritage. It shows the crucial role of trust, and subsequently social capital, in the outcome. They indirectly affect the public governance and the volunteering, together with collective identity, the crucible of the preservation and reuse of railway-related industrial heritage.
