The European Workshop on Applied Cultural Economics is intended to provide a forum for the development and dissemination of applications of quantitative methods in cultural economics, as well cultural-related applications of mathematical economics, experimental economics and other quantitative approaches.

The workshop will consist of 12-15 papers and the number of participants will be limited to around 25. Each paper will be allocated an hour, made up of a presentation by the authors, followed by a comment from a nominated discussant and a general discussion. Papers will be circulated in advance and taken as read.

Call for papers

Papers for the 2009 Workshop will be selected on the basis of full drafts. Papers must be sent as e-mail attachments (pdf, word) to Roberto Zanola ([email protected]). Deadline for submitting draft papers: April 20, 2009 . Authors will be notified regarding acceptance or rejection by May 1, 2009.

Accomodation and fees

Each presenter is intended to be available to serve as discussant and will be offered full support for lodging (accommodations and meals). Other participants and accompanying persons are required to pay an individual fee of Euro 150 to cover administrative costs and meals.

For participants, some hotel rooms will be reserved at a special conference price to be paid directly to the hotel. Reservation will last until the 15 th of May, 2009 . For other organizational enquiries please contact: Research Assistant, Hakan Hotunluoglu ([email protected]).
