My major interests are related to the spatial theory of voting, with a special emphasis on the Italian case. I am also interested in exploring the empirical implications of theoretical models. I have written several papers about problems of collective action and cooperation, including the relationship between deliberative process and game theory. I am co-director, with Paolo Martelli, of the Standing Group Politics&Rationality of the SISP (Italian Political Science Society) and I am a member of the Editorial Boards of IPS (Italian Political Science) and RISP (Rivista Italiana di Scienza Politica – Italian Review of Political Science).
