Call for Applications: Postdoc (2 years): The Department of Economics at the Università del Piemonte Orientale in Novara (Italy) (http://semeq.unipmn.it/) is opening a position for a Postdoc from February 2012, tenable for two years.

The successful applicant will collaborate in the international project ‘The challenge of globalization: Technology driven foreign direct investment and its implications for the negotiation of International Investment Agreements”, coordinated by Prof. Roberta Rabellotti and involving CIRCLE (Lund University), ISI-Fraunhofer, International Institute of Information Technology (Bangalore) and the Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Applicants are requested to have a doctorate in economics or related fields (economic geography, development, innovation studies, etc.) and have strong skills in econometrics, in particular in the analysis of micro data. Knowledge of the literature on Foreign Direct Investments is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Gross Salary: 22.817 € per annum
