The Alfred Weber Institute for Economic Sciences at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, invites papers for a two day workshop on 15-17 December 2011 on behavioural economics and ageing research. We welcome diverse approaches, including, but not restricted to, theoretical, experimental, and neuroscientific. Besides offering networking opportunities, the workshop aims to further existing dialogues on how neuroscientific and gerontological insights can be incorporated into models of decision making in economics and psychology, and how these insights may help to better understand real world economic questions as well as to design more effective public policy (Photo by DOS82 from Flickr).
The deadline for submissions of abstracts is 20th of October 2011. Authors of selected papers will be notified of the decision on 1st of November.
If you would like to contribute to this workshop by presenting a paper, we ask you to send an abstract of max. 300 words by email to [email protected]. On the basis of these abstracts we will select speakers for the workshop.
