Huttly, Sharon

I became the School's Dean of Studies in January 2006, having played an active role in the organisation and management of the School's teaching programme over the last several years. In this role I have responsibility for leading the strategic development, and overseeing the operational management, of the School's postgraduate teaching programme - including London-based taught courses, distance learning courses and research degrees. I have worked at the School since 1983 except for a two year spell in Brazil, undertaking teaching and research in international child health. I am an epidemiologist with a statistical background and also have an MA in Higher and Professional Education.

Teaching

I teach on a range of courses, particularly in the practical application of statistical and epidemiological methods, for our London-based and distance learning students.
