TEPP conference on Research in Health and Labour Economics

We are pleased to announce the TEPP conference on "Research in Health and Labour Economics" which will be held in the University of Le Mans, Le Mans, France, on September 26-27, 2013. The conference aims at bringing together researchers working on labour, health and public policy. Deadline for submissions: April, 15th 2013.

The scientific committee invites submissions of all contributions, either theoretical or empirical, investigating the interactions between health and labour policies, behaviours and/or outcomes.

List of Themes

- working conditions, job security, job and life satisfaction, human ressources, work organisation, sociology of work, psychosocial risks, value of life ;
- labour market outcomes (mobility, unemployment, employment, wages...), health and productivity, evaluation of public policy and programmes, retirement ;
- health care supply and demand, health insurance, inequalities, disability, health shocks, illness, measurement of health...

PhD programme

On September 25, 2013, a masterclass will be given by Maarten Lindeboom. A poster session will be organized for PhD students and junior research to present their research.

Instructions for paper submission

Contributions should be submitted electronically to [email protected]. Complete (draft) papers and extended abstract will be considered by the scientific committee. The first page of the article must contain an abstract, keywords and the corresponding author's contact information. Extended abstract should not exceed 5 pages and should contain the following items :
- Type of the contribution : theoretical, empirical, survey
- Three keywords
- Presentation of the question
- Motivated contribution to the literature
- Methodological approach : sources and methods
- First results and/or current stage
- 5 to 10 references

Important deadlines

  •     Deadline for submissions: April, 15th 2013
  •     Notification about the selection : May, 15th 2013.
  •     Registration deadline for accepted authors: June 30th 2013
  •     Registration deadline for other participants: September, 1st 2013
