Fellowship in Economic policy at the University of Rome Tor Vergata

Project title: A multidimensional analysis of socio-economic Italian Municipalities features and its relationship with regional development.
Place: University of Rome Tor Vergata, Dipartimento Scienze e Tecnologie della Formazione.
The socio-economic development of Italy can not be detached from an investigation into the features of municipalities, being the latter a complex network of social and economic forces driving the growth process itself. By the making of a suitable data base - jointly with econometric tecniques aiming at investigate the statistics of socio-economics variables in a territorial interacting framework - the research wants to shed light the role played by Municipalities into a more general context of domestic growth. We expect that regional polarization as well as tecnological gap - notably in environmental policies - could be explained only by a statistical analysis of the complex socio-economic territorial network represented by italian municipalities.

The deadline for application is September 17, 2012.
