9th Eurasian Business and Economics Society Conference

9th EBES Conference will  take  place on January 11th, 12th, and 13th, 2013 at the Faculty of Economics of Sapienza University of Rome. Abstract submission for the 9th EBES Conference is now open. The deadline for abstract submission is October 31st, 2012.

Invited speakers

We are pleased to announce that distinguished researchers, Giorgio di Giorgio, Marco Vivarelli, and Maurizio Franzini will join the conference as keynote speakers. Giorgio di Giorgio is a professor of economics at LUISS University in Italy. He serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance at LUISS University. Professor Giorgio has published many papers in leading economics journals such as Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking and Journal of Banking and Finance (for his research, please click here). Marco Vivarelli is a professor of economics at Catholic University of Milano in Italy and published many papers in top economics journals. Professor Vivarelli is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the journal of Eurasian Business Review and associate editor of the Industrial and Corporate Change and Small Business Economics (for his research, please click here). Maurizio Franzini is a professor of economic policy and Head of the Department of Economics and Law at the Sapienza, University of Rome in Italy. Professor Franzini has many publications in the field (for his research, please click here).

Submission

Abstract submission for the 9th EBES Conference is now open. For online submission, please click here. The deadline for abstract submission is October 31st, 2012.

Your abstract should be between 150 and 400 words. All abstracts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format and in English (including the title, authors’ names, affiliation, and contact information of the authors). Abstracts should include Objectives, Data and Methods, Results, and Conclusions. JEL classification and up to 6 keywords should be used. Previously published papers may not be submitted.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Program and the Abstract Book (with an ISBN number). It will be distributed to all conference participants at the Conference. Although submitting full papers are not required, submitted full papers will also be included in the conference proceeding CD.

If you would like to propose an organized session, please contact Ender Demir by e-mail ([email protected]) including its subject and format along with minimum 5 presenters interested in attending the session.

If your paper is accepted for presentation at the conference, you are expected to serve as a discussant or session chair in one of the sessions or presentations.

Publication opportunities

Qualified papers will be published in the EBES journals (Eurasian Business Review and Eurasian Economic Review). EBES journals are indexed in the Cabell's Directory, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, RePEc, EBSCO Business Source Complete, ProQuest ABI/Inform, and EconLit (EER). Interested EBES 2013 Conferences participants can also resubmit their full papers for the EBES 2013 Anthology (has an ISBN number) which is published annually and includes papers presented in the EBES 2013 Conferences.
