CESifo, the Center of Public Economics at TU Dresden and the Ifo Institute for Economic Research Dresden will jointly organize a workshop on Political Economy in Dresden, Germany, on November 28-29, 2014. In the tradition of the previous workshops, the conference will take place in Saxony´s capital Dresden. The two-day workshop will serve as a forum to present current research results in political economy and will give researchers the opportunity to network.

The keynote speakers will be: Ekaterina Zhuravskaya (Paris School of Economics) Roland Vaubel (University of Mannheim).

CESifo will sponsor the conference dinner on Friday evening. Selected papers presented at the conference will appear in the CESifo Working Paper Series. As the workshop intends to build a network in this research area, participation is welcome even without paper contributions. Submission Both theoretical and empirical studies are welcome.
