The history of our Faculty stretches more than fifty years back. We have been following the latest trends in education and currently we have 4,000 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Our priority is to offer study programmes which will enable our graduates to find their fulfilment throughout the European labour market. We have reached significant results in research and development within the scientific policy of the Czech Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth and in other areas as well.

The year 2009 is very important for us -- it is the year in which our Faculty celebrates its 50th anniversary. We will celebrate this occasion with many activities including a Gala Ball on February 27, international conference Firm and Competitive Environment on March 12 and 13, exhibitions in Mahen's and Technical Museums, and workshops, lectures and exhibitions on 'Totality vs. Democracy' on November 18 and 19. We will be very pleased if you are interested in participating and cooperating with the Faculty of Business and Economics.
