Anwesha Ghosh is presently a Research Scholar at Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, University of Erfurt Germany under DAAD PhD Programme. She did her M. Phil from the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, Kolkata. Prior to that she completed her M.A. in Modern History from University of Calcutta, followed by second Masters in Developmental Studies from University of Rome La Sapienza for which she was awarded prestigious scholarship from Italian Government. Ghosh has been a non-resident fellow at Centre for Air Power Studies, New Delhi from 2011 to 2012, a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Pakistan and West Asian Studies, University of Calcutta and a Fellow at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata upto 2013. She has considerable experience in Development Sector because of her stint with renowned International Organizations like GIZ and Water for People. Her first Monograph titled Afghanistan from Enduring Freedom to Enduring Chaos: Implications for India” was published in 2012 with KW Publishers Pvt Ltd.
