I research in the areas of emerging technologies & social media, organizational communication, and health dissemination. My recent work appears in journals such as Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, Computer Supported Cooperative Work, CyberPsychology, Behavior, & Social Networking, and IEEE Computer. Two forthcoming chapters will appear in the Handbook of Positive Organizational Scholarship and Dissemination and Implementation Research in Health: Translating Science to Practice, both will be published by Oxford University Press in Spring 2011. My current projects explore cyberinfrastructure adoption in scientific organizations, new media implementation in health organizations, and corporate use of social media for distributed collaboration and virtual organizing. On a personal note, I am a certified yoga instructor.
