Presentation

With this conference we want to address and discuss the role and the organisation of the non-profit / civil society sector in Europe, the importance of the sector in the provision of social welfare and the different types of relationship emerging in European countries between the non-profit / civil society sector and welfare institutions.

The data collected in connection to national surveys in the Johns Hopkins Comparative Non-profit Sector Study will be the primary data source for several of these studies.
