The Welfare State and Taxation Unit of the Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy is pleased to announce the first Dondena workshop on Public Policy. The workshop will be held at the Bocconi University in Milan on November 14-15, 2016.
This two-day workshop provides an opportunity for presentations and discussions about research on the design and impact of public policy on economic and social phenomena in an informal and highly interactive environment. This year we especially encourage submissions of papers that examine how policy affects the accumulation of human capital over the life cycle; inequality; and social mobility.
The keynote speakers are:
Pedro Carneiro, University College London
David Figlio, Northwestern University.
The deadline for submission of complete papers is 10 September 2016.
Papers should be sent to email@example.com.
Communication of the acceptance of papers will take place by 20 September 2016.
The workshop can provide up to two nights of accommodation, but expenses for travel to and from Milan are the responsibility of the participants.
Massimo Anelli, Alessandra Casarico, Conchita D’Ambrosio, Carlo Devillanova, Carlo Fiorio, and Paola Profeta
