Introduction

he 2007 biannual conference of the European Survey Research Association will be organized at the University of Economics, Prague June 25-29th 2007. The conference follows the first EASR 2005 conference in Barcelona.

The European Survey Research Association (ESRA) has been established to provide coordination in the field of survey research in Europe. Through its activities it encourages communication between substantive researchers, methodologists, and statisticians working in the field of survey research. The first conference was held in Barcelona in 2005; more than 300 people from many different countries participated in this event. We are pleased to have the opportunity to announce the second conference of the European Survey Research Association, 25 – 29 June 2007 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The ESRA 2007 conference will be hosted jointly by the University of Economics, Prague and the Czech Statistical Office.
