Annual Workshop on Gender Economics

Presentation

The aim of this Workshop is to provide junior and senior  researchers  interested in gender economics a forum for the presentation and discussion of research papers representing current advances in the field. Both Theoretical and Empirical Papers are welcome. Papers must be submitted and presented in English.

The Workshop  is jointly sponsored by FEDEA and COSME. In the 2011 edition, the workshop will be hosted by INSIDE.

The 2011 Annual Workshop will take place in Barcelona, at the Institute for Economic Analysis (Institut d'Analisi Económica (CSIC)), in Bellaterra. 

Call for papers

The IV Workshop on Gender Economics, co-sponsored by FEDEA and COSME, will take place on May 26-27, 2011 at the Institute for Economic Analysis, Barcelona, Spain.

The aim of the Workshop is to offer young researchers interested in gender economics a forum for the presentation and discussion of research papers representing current advances in the field. There will be 10 papers to be presented and discussed in the two-day conference. For more details, visit http://www.genderworkshop.com

Submissions for presentation should include an abstract and, when possible, the paper itself in PDF format (one single file, including tables and figures). Preference will be given to submissions that include a complete paper. Submissions must be sent in English. Oral Presentations for the accepted papers must be done also in English.

There is no registration fee for participants. Lunch and dinner will be freely provided. Participants must pay their travel and accommodation expenses.

The submission deadline is March 1, 2011. Acceptance decisions will be communicated by the end of March.
